Welcome, Fellow Dreamer
Hello! I’m Christine Joy Delahay. I believe in the magic of stories – the kind that lingers in the consciousness forever.

I am the author and illustrator of the Misty Morgan trilogy, a story of a girl called Misty living a troubled life until she discovers she has magical abilities. A new world opens up, and she embarks on an adventure that is filled with excitement and danger. The page turning adventure is not just centred on her own self discovery, but also on those around her. A story of courage and friendship, myth, and modernity. A story that reminds us that magic is not an escape from the world, it is a way of engaging with it more fully.
My work is rooted in folklore, magic, and the natural world – with characters who feel like they have stepped out of an old folk tale. Every step through the story carries its own atmosphere – witchy, enchanted, and otherworldly. I want my stories and illustrations to make you slow down and look closer, the way you would following a path through an overgrown forest at midnight.
